I am also speculating how a silver 530d with //M bumpers, the new //M grills and 20/19in BBS CH-R wheels (gun metal finish) would look like. And also add the new LED lights headlights.

No it's not a straight fit. BMW sells bumpers to work with regular 5's that may look the same as M but have different part numbers. (clips, edges to fit fenders, air ducts placed differently). What one needs is M sport not M5, bumpers.

And I too hate the amount of chrome on the new line of BMWs. A chrome grill and strip wrapping around the window looked classy, not too bling.

I think BMW (and Merc) are losing the exterior design appeal. They neither look flowing or sharp and especially the rear tail lights are big disappointment.
