2018 BMW 2 series unveiled, at one look it is visually unchanged!

At the front, the updated car is fitted with bi-LED headlights as standard while bi-LED adaptive headlights are an option. Designers also tweaked the front kidney grille surround, made redesigned fog lights available and created different air intakes across the range. The rear makes do without a significant change and only gets different taillights.

Now THAT, is the Bimmer I know.. good looking, curvaceous and with a grin. What on earth was the designer thinking when he connected the headlamps to the kidney grille? It looks horrendous specially in the 5 and 7 Series models.

Its uniform opinion (pretty much) that all present BMW's don't have the connected steering and feedback of older models (EPS duh) but glad to see some semblance of what their cars used to be.. big engines are the least important factor when it comes to fun. The 4 door 1 Series I bet will be more fun than their other models.. small size = great control/chuckability and good practicality as well.

If I remember right Mercedes, had some thing like an Innova shaped MPV, nomenclature was 'R' Class.

I have seen one of its type in Bangalore and then that's it, no one bought the second. It must have been a full import, don't recollect Mercedes selling something like this in India.

It was a fully imported model with a 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine, I think it cost about 70 plus in Bangalore. Like all Mercedes import specials, there were 2 press cars and one actual owner. A diesel may have done better.

It was indeed on sale in 2013, only petrol r350, same engine as s class
Auto hangar had a test drive car as well as fresh stock. Had good discounts too and they were pushing it. I had been on a extended test ride too
I have seen one each on roads in UP and jharkhand this year itself
