1350 hp Centenary Veyron to be revealed in Geneva.!!

Source:Car News and reviews, videos, wallpapers, pictures, free games and more. - Top Speed

It’s been 100 years since Ettore Bugatti first starting putting his rare and fast creations on the street, and to celebrate it, the company that bears his name may be going to try and take back the fastest production car crown.
Bugatti will unveil a special edition in Geneva. It will be called the Centenary, and it should have 1350 hp (349 hp more than the current Veyron.) This is rumored to take the top speed from 253 mph to 264 mph. If true, the Veyron Centenary could take back the title of fastest production car from the SSC Ultimate Aero.
We don’t have all the details just yet, including how many vehicles will make up this limited edition. But fear not, the Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner, and we’ll be keeping our eye on this one.

a 13 mph increase on an already very - very fast car.
Damn. What does bugatti want. I want to know its pricing as compared to the original bugatti. Should be very expensive.

True. And its not like there are very many roads on this earth, that would let you get close to the top speed of the car. Some part of the Autobahn, maybe.
If this car could take off, then it would be a different ball game!

They have to build more roads before they build more cars...

Should have guessed it...a hoax! With 1000bhp & 404kmph they somehow managed to keep it on the ground...and keep it cool...the Veyron was a long time coming. It had a very very long gestation period.VW boffins had reached the limit..the power was already too much.Any more power was absolutely impossible to handle.

I am a huge fan of the Veyron. I just love it purely because of the fact that it does what it does.

It is a pure engineering marvel, now they are pushing the envelope.

cheers,
AC

i think buggati is just doing what it does best.bringing in brutal force.veyron is not meant to be a track car.it is just meant to be a straight line cruiser.somebody has to do the different thing, why not it be bugatti.ferraris and saleens play around with aero, but bugatti has its own way of doing things.difference adds to the flavour of things.i only hope that adding this much power doesnt lead to tyre bursts again and delaying of years.
