Well, there has been a campaign now to ban TopGear for many days, but it has now started with renewed vigour.
Click here to sign a petition for continuation of the show.

You can also send a message for Richard by sending an email to tgweb@bbc.co.uk with the subject line Richard.

Richard Hammond has been moved from the Leeds Infirmary. Below is the link to the srticle, which also has a BBC clip attached (courtesy: YouTube)

http://www.finalgear.com/news/2006/0...from-hospital/

On the other side, doctors are claiming that it will take Hammond atleast 6 months to recover from the horrid accident.
Quote:
[His neurosurgeon said] “He has to rest and allow his brain to recover and that takes time. I’m sure that once that period is over he will be back to his old self.”
When asked when that might be, Mr Ross suggested a timeframe of around six months.

James May to the Daily Telegraph:

"But within 24 hours, he had improved. Within 48, he was out of danger. Five minutes ago, as I sat at my desk, bugger me if he didn’t ring me up and talk to me in a perfectly lucid, normal way. He was a bit confused, certainly, but it was Richard Hammond. Excellent."

Topgear - Richard Hammonds crash on youTube

If you missed the return of Top Gear then here is your chance to see the full segment culminating in the crash that came very close to ending the "Hamsters" life. Luckily he survived relativley unscathed and is back driving fast cars again. I still think strapping an afterburner to a car is freakin insane .

And this time it's the limited edition Morgan Aeromax !!!

Now that he isn't injured at all, I feel sorry for the car.

"some have compared it to the Batmobile in the recent Batman films."
How is that possible?? The two cars are leagues apart!!
