Audi e-tron GT Concept debuts at the LA Motor show, coming in 2020 with deliveries not happening before 2021.

Will rival Tesla Model S.

The concept measures 4.96 m (16.2 ft) in length and 1.96 m (6.43 ft) in width,and for its height and its wheelbase it is 1.38 meters (4.5 feet) and 2.90 meters (9.5 feet) respectively.

The e-tron GT Concept was born out of a direct collaboration between Audi Sport and Porsche, beginning with the platform (same one used on the Taycan), and including the battery pack. While an exact range hasn’t been specified, the fully electric e-tron GT is expected to travel for over 400 km (248 miles) on a single charge, and can be charged to 80% of its capacity in around 20 minutes due to its 800-volt system, for a range of about 199 miles (320 km).

Audi expects the production version of the dual-motor e-tron GT to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in around 3.5 seconds, before reaching 124 mph (200 km/h) in just over 12 seconds. Top speed will be limited to 149 mph (240 km/h) for EV range purposes.

expect this car to boast Level 3 autonomous functionality, as well as high levels of connectivity for mobile devices, app usage and so on.

Audi has chosen the emirate of Abu Dhabi as a location for the international media launch of the all-new e-tron all-electric crossover.

On a route taking them from Masdar City to Jebel Hafeet, the second highest mountain in the United Arab Emirates, journalists from all over the world are able to assess the 2019 Audi e-tron’s driving characteristics for the first time. The test route includes highways and twisty roads, as well as gravel tracks and sand.

Audi plans its next Electric Vehicle. A Crossover which will be a bit larger than Q2 but smaller than Q3.

Initial Thoughts:
We started our drive of the Audi e-tron from Abu Dhabi's Masdar City, which has been designed, to be the world's first emissions-free city, when fully functional and built to plan. Embarking on our drive in Audi's first ever all-electric car from a city that is intended to be ecologically friendly is obviously appropriate with what Audi plans to achieve with the e-tron. Audi hopes to launch the e-tron in India late next year, but with the challenges of charging infrastructure and an initial cost likely to be upwards of 1.5 crore of rupees, we see only a few select people opting for it. And this too purely because of the Audi e-tron's eco-friendly credentials.

Audi's 3rd electric car to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show, showroom version looks likely to hit the roads in 2020.

New 2020 Audi baby e-tron SUV to be previewed at Geneva.

The vehicle will in effect be an all-electric sibling for the new Q3, with exterior dimensions extremely close to those of the brand’s third most popular model.

While the larger e-tron SUV uses a bespoke platform, the smaller newcomer will be a product born of Volkswagen Group modularity

It’s anticipated that the electric crossover will be offered with all three of the MEB system’s different battery sizes.

Audi Q4 e-tron concept unveiled,

The Audi Q4 e-tron Concept will reach the production line at the end of 2020 as the fifth electric model from Audi.

Being a concept, it sits on a set of massive wheels and tires which probably won’t make their way into production. The rear end is dominated by a pair of taillights with a mixture of sharp lines and curved edges connected with an LED light bar stretching the width of the rear. A second glowing e-tron badge is also found at the rear, sitting just above an intriguing diffuser

Powering the Audi Q4 e-tron Concept are a pair of electric motors that deliver a combined 301 hp (225 kW) of power. Of that, 150 kW (201 hp) and 310 Nm (228 lb-ft) comes from the rear electric motor while the e-motor up front delivers 75 kW (100 hp) and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft).

The vehicle features quattro all-wheel drive and thanks to the instant torque offered by the electric motors, can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a brisk 6.3 seconds. The vehicle’s top speed sits at an electronically limited 180 km/h (112 mph).

Of far more importance than the Q4 e-tron Concept’s straight-line performance, however, is its range. Fitted with an 82 kWh battery pack, the SUV has a range exceeding 450 km (279 miles) on the WLTP cycle. The battery can be charged to 80 per cent of its capacity in 30 minutes.

With an exterior length of 4.30 meters (14.1 ft) and a width of 1,90 meters (6.2 ft), the Audi AI:ME takes up as much traffic space as a present-day compact car. However, the wheelbase of 2.77 meters (3 ft) and the height of 1.52 meters (5 ft) indicate interior dimensions that are more likely to be found in the next higher class at least. This is made possible by the architecture of the electric drive. It allows for short overhangs and a large-volume interior without a propeller shaft tunnel. The drive unit is positioned on the rear axle and mobilizes 125 kW (170 metric hp)

Audi AI:ME and Audi AIcon: two concept cars whose very names refer to the new, two-letter abbreviation under which Audi is bundling an entire cluster of innovative mobility technologies.

The name of the Audi AI:ME thus already makes the connection between AI and the users themselves.Audi AI systems are capable of learning and thinking, while also being proactive and personal.

The Audi AI:ME is designed for use in the city and for driving at what is known as level 4. This is the second-highest level on a standardized international scale for increasing automation. Although systems with level 4 do not require any assistance on the part of the driver, their function is limited to a specific area—such as highways or a specially equipped area in inner cities. In these places, the driver can completely transfer the task of driving to the system. The driver needs to resume the task only when the car leaves the area defined for fully automated driving.

By contrast to the Audi AIcon, a vehicle with level-5 function that is always fully autonomous, the Audi AI:ME is therefore equipped with the traditional steering wheel and pedalry control elements in addition

Good stuff. I am surprised that the bonnet has not been abbreviated, since it will now be mostly empty. The batteries are almost invariably underfloor, the 'pancake' motors which power the wheels are quite small, and there is no need for a transmission and differential.
