No, rumour has it that it'll have a convertible version as usual but also a 4-door version ala the E36!

Dear dude, never! I'm not a fan of this new-age fashionista bling. In the picture, they appear to be no bigger than 18". I'm a huge fan of M3s, and for the e46, it was a known fact that the 18 inchers provided a lot more edge and grip than the larger, but more visually appealing, 19" M-alloys.

With the flame-surfacing Bangle designs, the large wheel arches beg for large alloys. It is therefore no shock that the current lineup of M's, the M5 and M6, feature 19 inchers as stock. I agree that the M3 will be smaller, but if they can replicate the e46's drivability in 19" on the e90...I will be a happy man (not that I can buy one anyway :()

its nice, but no comparison to the E46 in s3x appeal...I will take the RS5 when it comes out later this year over this..

but more than either of the 2 for the same money i would take the upcoming Nissan GTR.

I was dying to see how the new M3 will turn out, oh well..

I think its fabulous. Its the least dissappointing at first glance when compared to all BMWs that have been launched post Bangle. I agree I didnt go gah gah or get goose bumps like when I saw the E46 M3 for the 1st time. But I got a chance to see the 335ci in person and I must say the E92 with the right wheels really is a good design and really grows on you. In that regard this M3 is going to look outright knee-weakening in person. Keep seeing it often and it will drive us crazy. And the 4 Door E90 M3 is rumored to have the E92 coupe front end. Its got an awesome rear so I think the M3's are gonna rock everybody's boat. The wheels will get bigger. The first E46 pics were with 18s as well. but I dont really like this pattern either. Lets wait for the new pics. What do you guys think of those mirrors. Kinda cool I think

Correction to earlier post, the RHD M3's are expected around early-2008.
