So Toyota has decided that the new TNGA based models are not suitable for India and ASEAN markets. We will be getting the Suzuki sourced models and ASEAN markets will get the DNGA based ones. Not sure of what to make out of it, but I guess we are better of with the Grand Vitara based Hyryder than the poor market Yaris Cross. We atleast get the latest M15A engine in the hybrid, unlike the ASEAN Yaris Cross which has the same old Etios/Yaris 1.5l NR engine and its hybrid version.
