Still own the car, as in trying to sell it currently. Its based in the US. I was hoping the car will catch on and see a lot of sales but there was no way it was catching up with the ford mustang, chevy camaro and the dodge charger in sales.

Hyundai does not seem to make an effort to sell the genesis brand, so unless you as a customer have a knowledge, the chances of you going for it is bleak.

Lastly the resale value is pathetic. Even the hyundais own dealer gave me a low ball offer of $2500 on a 2012 gen coupe with 72k miles on it. The price at purchase was $28000.

2020 Genesis GV80 Fully Revealed In Korea.

In South Korea, the GV80 will initially be sold with a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V6 engine offering up 274 hp and 434 lb-ft (589 Nm) of torque coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Two petrol engines will also be available depending on the market. The base petrol engine will be a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 300 hp and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque while sitting above it in the range is a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 with 375 hp and 390 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. As standard, the GV80 is sold in rear-wheel drive configuration but all-wheel drive is an option

Genesis GV80, presumably the equivalent of the X5, Q5 and GLE, and 100 times better looking, almost Bentley level of finishing (designed by Bentley's ex-designers Sangyup Lee and Luc Donckerwolke).

Hope Genesis curbstomps the big 3 in due course, largely because the big 3 have slacked off big time over the past decade, of course it'll take more than a few years for Genesis to even sell in the thousands largely because the western world hates the Hyundai Group like there's no tomorrow.

The review is very detailed. I had always wondered why would anybody buy a Hyundai when they can afford a BMW. The video answers the question clearly. Hyundai is filling the car to the brim with tech and selling at substantial discount to the luxury marquees.

2022 Genesis GV80 debuts in South Korea with six seat model.



At the back, there are two separate seats divided by a massive center console with audio controls, cup holders (with heating and cooling functions), and a wireless phone charger. There’s also a four-zone climate control.







2022 GV80 will be sold with two new exterior colors, Mauna Red and Barossa Burgundy, plus a new interior urban brown/vanilla beige color combo.

Engine options and any changes to powertrains for South Korea market will be revealed on coming days.
