The size of the grills seems to have come down in these shots. Could be misleading though. Also the headlamps on this camouflaged car reminded me of the ones on the old 8 Series (E31). Hope this one gets the pop up headlamps too !

The BMWs never were charismatic in the same way Mercedes are. Why try to be something you're not? BMWs inherently are sportier and tighter to drive than the Mercedes counterparts. I think BMW should continue to stick to their sporty designs rather than try and be a classy barge like the S-Class.

We've seen many people shrug the S class off as an old man's car. No doubt that it's the epitome of luxury and class. But it's target audience have made it such. I know you being a younger S Class owner, are an exception, sir. But that's how the customer base is.

It's like BMW is trying to attract Mercedes customers which it clearly isn't going to get. Almost like Volkswagen tries to nab Maruti Customers with each and every move. They're never gonna get them.

They'd rather stay true to their roots and do what's best known to them.

Glad to see this, seems like we have a sane grill coming up unlike the gigantic ones on the renders.

Can't wait to see how the final product turns out. As a W222 owner, my decision to upgrade to the W223 lies with the 7's reveal. While the w222 had a lot more charisma than the current 7, i have a hunch that tables might turn with this one vs the w223
