Few days ago the BMW X7 Facelift was spotted;







This partially camouflaged mule points that the X7 'LCI' is in the works & as X7 went on sale in India just last year i.e. 2019 so this will not hit our shores anytime before 2022

That would be quite the departure from their ugly, ahem..... standard design language.

I don't think they'd do that, and the lights are halogen, so My bet is that these are just some projectors ziptied in place for testing period. Lots of cars just put a basic light while testing to make it road worthy

The headlights now sit lower than the current model, and they seem to be disconnected from the grille. Speaking of the grille, the redesigned X7's lung grille seems to retain its size and shape

So I have decided to create a new one on an update that has just been posted. I leave it to you to decide on the appropriate action on my post.
Ideally, it should be posted as News But I do not know how plus I am still in the newbie category

BMW has decided to give its X7 model an MB GLS competitor newly styled headlights



Although the design is not a rare one as this layout was spotted on the Skoda Kamiq which has split full headlights.


Though the current styling of BMW has been rather staid and cost the CEO his position the renderings here only point to a facelift to the model and does not bode well for the marque that's lost a lot of ground to its German rival.

It's a polarizing look, but not because of the XXL grille.

It's safe to say BMW's designs have been controversial as of late. Whether it's because of the increasingly larger kidney grilles or the awkward taillights of the new 2 Series Coupe, the Internet consensus is the Bavarians are on a downward path in terms of styling. Add another European cousin to complete the trio (pic from our official review).

Compared to these, personally I feel the current Lexus range will become a timeless design in the future. Chris Bangle designs seem quite normal compared to today's BMW designs. I am not sure if these designs are actually having any benefit (will be happy if someone clarifies and corrects me)because I have a strong feeling that this will complicate part replacement creating higher revenue (at least labour wise) for dealers and is just being done by the designer on company payrolls for the sake of doing something.

The idea of split headlamps like the ones on the harrier, Hector etc. are much better done. But I don't feel the one shown on the X7 facelift (rendering) looks that well. Maybe it could be the angle of the picture and a better idea could be formed once the car is seen in person. Going from the picture shown, it looks as if there are two sets of eyes stacked on top of each other which I find weird. Is this done to give some proportion to that huge grill ? All these outlandish designs reminds me of celebs who take plastic surgery too far and ruin their faces.

If headlamps are the eyes of a car, the X7 facelift render resembles the picture below

New spy photos of the BMW X7 Facelift 2023 reveal its interiors:

The revamped BMW X7 will debut next spring, and will go on sale in autumn 2022, as a 2023 model.

the powerful V8 engine will adopt 48 Volt technology.

The luxurious curved screen that has been debuted on board the BMW iX has also been transferred to the X7 LCI, undertaking a reform in the dashboard practically to the level of a completely new model with a one-piece screen that groups both the instrument cluster and the infotainment system.

The thin strip of LED, arranged in the shape of a wedge, will completely transform the distinctive luminous signature characteristic of the Bavarians, who have evolved from the famous "angel eyes". Below, a smaller headlight will feature the main crossing and highway functions. Severe changes up front that will be the complete opposite in the back. The pilots retain their original horizontal shape, but will change the luminous graphics, just as the more angular exhaust trims are also new.

Is this BMW X7 facelift?

The split-headlights include a top section that houses the LED daytime running lights while the bottom section is where the main headlamps are.
