5 best Rally cars of all time

Cars created by the manufacturers with the sole purpose of rallying. Choose your top 5 fav of all time.

BTW, they must have competed in the WRC at some point in time, and not just concepts or rally cars that never competed in the WRC (ala Porsche 959)

Mine are:-
1) Audi Quattro Sport: Basically showed the world how fast you can really go on dirt by intorducing all-wheel drive

2) Ford RS200: Coz I grew up watching these 500 Hp Grp B. monsters...the flames spewing out of their exhausts and the noise they made forever etched in my mind.

3) Mistubishi Lancer Evo (all of em): The first car you could buy of-the-shelf and actually be competitive with. Still the class act in the production class if not the WRC.

4) Lancia Stratos: what-a-car!! By looking at it you'd think it was made for circuit racing...and then you see it kitted out and winning rallies...! sunova*&%$%

5) Peugeot 205 Turbo 16: for introducing the mid-engined layout to the group B's. Just imagine 450 plus horsepower in a car a little bigger than a Zen.

well...the Subaru wouldv'e been my 6th choice. I prefer the Evo's.

How how how i wud love to put the 959... looks like rtech is taking a leaf outta my book and making it even tougher to name the five (ala my top 10 supercars post)...

Well though here's my five

1. Lancia Delta HF Integrale ( one of the fastest and meanest.. .won the WCship five years in a row... if u thought that makkinen ande mitsu were the best...lol) [well addy is also now my bestest friend for putting it on his too]
2. Lancia Stratos (Wicked wicked wicked... and so goddamn fast)
3. Ford RS200 (Another wickedly fast and mad car... too bad they banned group B racing )
4. Peugeot 205 turbo (whooaaa... peugeot makes the best hatchbacks... no doubt)
5. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV to Evo VI (why cuz Makkinen won in them 4 times, all in a row... anyone seen the Mitsu's official 2000 year vid wud know why i love the Evo VI, even when it yumps along corners, the car is so easy to control... of course good ol makki was amazing at his peak)
6. ( Yea yea i am a moderator so exercising my powers too) 555 Subaru Impreza STi 1994-95. (What a car. And with one of my top three rally drivers of all time, Colin McRae behind the wheel. People call McRae more hype than go. Well then u missed the 94 and 95 seasons guys. How does a rally driver who laps a circuit in a 24 hour Le Mans car within one second of the regular drivers and within 20 laps of a circuit he's never driven on before sound to you? Well theres the word astonishing and then there's Colin McRae)

P.S. rtech.. the 959 was no concept crap... it won the Paris-Dakar in 1986.. 1-2 finish.

I know the 959 wasn't a concept...thats why I mentioned "or rally cars that never competed in the WRC". The 959 never competed in the WRC.
