Guys the Interceptor is not pitted against the Camaro. Its a concept replacement for Fords Crown Victoria which the police around here drive. I've seen that car in person and yuckoo...! But i guess because it was prototype that explained to poor build quality.

just to skew the stats - voted for camaro - however American muscle-my fav is the '67 Shelby GT 500. But my muscle is closely contested by WRX, Evo IX and the 2002 M5. Sleeper cars to the core!

I'd go with the Camaro anyday. Although I'm anxiously waiting for the Pontiac GTO replacement as well.

Camaro. You feel like you are looking at someone and not a car.

After the thread I had created on the Charger, my poll choice is evident. Gotta love that understated muscular design!

actually I was wondering whether we should be considering the Challenger(LC)/charger (LX) muscle cars from Chrysler? They are made on the Merc platform.

Note: Poll edited to include both the Dodge Charger & the Dodge Challenger. I've reset votes for the Dodge - so that members can vote for the correct choice.

Daimler-Chrysler & General Motors both need to get their act together to match interior (and exterior) quality to their designs. They fail miserably in that respect in all their offerings (yes, including the Dodge Viper / SRT-10 and the Chevrolet Corvette).

The one with the better interior would be my choice between these yesteryear icons. The engine would have to be the highest offered V8, ofcourse.

While it's a tough decision to choose between the Dodge Challenger and the Chevrolet Camaro - the one I'm really waiting for (and I expect a lot of people are too), is the Pontiac GTO / Firebird / TransAm.
There are a lot of rumours that going around that Pontiac may try to enter the Muscle Wars arena somewhere around 2010. The TransAm would be my choice.

We'll see...
