I just don't get it....BMW and Mercedes seem to be playing ping pong.
First Mercedes steals the column gearshift from the 7 series and put it in the S.
Now, BMW puts the joystick back in the 7 and steals the gazillion buttons on the dash layout from Mercedes.

This is obviously not the final production variant, and thus will have rough edges.

Not to mention the droopy butt! Merc has taken it one step further and given it to the new C too.

Naturally, that was my concern. Hence my little message about my hope towards these gaps and poor quality fittings not making it to the real.

I just looked at my previous post. A spelling and a grammatical error all in the span of two lines. Have I been bitten by the Sam bug?

I'm scared that they may mess up the rear end again.

I'm not going to comment on the interior quality as it is a mock up of the real thing, but the design just doesn't convey 7-series class luxury, its more suitable for the 5er.

I don't think this design will age too well. Current car models from BMW look good to start with, but, you soon grow tired of them. The 5 Series is probably the best looking of the lot, but, even that's looking outdated.
The interior of this car isn't impressive either. Maybe the engine will make up for these shortcomings. Still, even if I had the money, this is not the car I would buy.
