In the interest of keeping the present gene pool undiluted, I hope not.

I'd missed the wiki link. Man, the younger generation in Japan is going to the dogs in a big way. First drifting, now this.

Check out the last pic of the GS with the wald kit, look at the negative camber, wonder how long those tyres last him?

I like big wheels, but only if they are not chrome, and not TOO big for the car.

OK, that wiki link did not go well with the Pics, you need not be a gangster to Mod your car in such a way. I thought they look good and cleanly done without anything tacky like big wings ect.

@spawnofsatan : The GS and most are on Air Ride - you have negative camber only when parked, it rises up to drive and the camber corrects to the right setting when raised.

@mura
Hey dude, i am in no way saying this is not a good thread/topic. Some of these cars could actually look pretty nice. Its just that ...well, chrome overkill...
Regards.

Yes i know they are on air ride, but even when the cars are not parked they usually have a large negative camber, several such specimens exist in LA, and unfortunately inlcude someone I know, he barely gets 4000-5000 miles out of his rears!!!

You also have "Ultra lightweight Toyo T1S 195/45-14 tyres " to make your Miata go fast with that wheezy 116 Bhp engine.

Ooooooo Burnn.....

On a serious note he is right that is quite ghetto, I guess if the wheels were a size smaller and the cars weren't slammed to the floor and the wheels were NOT CHROME then they would look pretty good.

I have seen several large luxury cars with 22" wheels and looking good, its when they go 24" and slam it, the car looks bad.
