Ferrari F450 Prototype Spied

According to Next Autos this F450 was undergoing some winter testing in Sweden. While it wears the skin of the vehicle it's replacing, the venerable F430 underneath is concealed a larger 4.5-liter V8 and the twin-clutch gearbox out of the Ferrari California.

The new F450 should debut sometime later this year and arrive in the hands of lucky Europeans early next year.

I liked it ... But its not very different from other Ferraris. May be the heart ...

Hahaha.....the engineer does have something to say, doesn't he? Looks like a classy design, but a tad dated. Hope it does not turn out like the California...

Quite similar to the F430 from the front but sure is very mean.
The red rims are lookin killer on it.

Guys, Its a F450 under the shell of a F430.

The rims look sad to my eyes.

And If the car does eventually look like the one that TopSpeed has portrayed, God save Ferrari. They are going from Bad to Worse. BRING THE 355 BACK!!!

Utterly useless comparing this design to existing Ferraris. It's blatantly a mule in F430's clothing.

Very true. Seems they are just testing the engine and gearbox under the conventional F430 skin.

This is what the VW group did before they launched the Veyron. They tested the massive 16.4L engine and gearbox on a Lamborghini Diablo chassis.

Don't worry they wont reveal anything to till its launch date and the 1000's of websites claiming to have spy pictures do not themselves have an idea of what is to come.

Remember they are "FERRARI". Most of their VVIP customer's have already booked the car because Ferrari treats them like "God" and they believe they will be the first of the lot. And they wouldn't appreciate if the pics are already out.

Now that looks a whole lot better,IMO.Definitely classy looking,in comparision to the spy pics.

Ferrari's replacement for the F430 will be called the F450 and is set to be introduced this coming October and customers will receive their production version by early 2010. The F450 will come with a V8 powerhouse that can generated around 500 hp.Lighter than the F430 Scuderia the F450 will be the very first “green” Ferrari ever and will highlight an AWD system, enhanced handling from ground-breaking adjustable suspension creating a vehicle that will become an intense rival to the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Audi R8.
