I had posted earlier that the Hyundai Ix-Onic Concept might be launched as the new Tucson.

This news seems to confirm that.

Note the similarities:

Hmmm. Somehow, this looks like there is too much of a forced look in it. You know... as if someone was trying desparately to make it look new age, shocking, stylistic et al. Its actually very typical of Hyundai. Somehow the understated elegance is always missing.

Guys lets give Hyundai a break. They have been improving on their cars with each subsequent launch and we keep finding similarities with other existing vehicles.

Even though I am definitely not a Hyundai fan but seem to find these comparisons uncalled for. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for sharing Sid and Xinger.

Not a very plush interior...

Fake wood is almost never a good idea...

Boring interiors...instrument panel etc looks very basic.Might look better in beige color.the color of the wood paneling is also cheap looking. There is no display for the ACC?

The exterior is very good compared to the current Tucson

I don't think this is the real interior at all.

Even on the leftlanenews site where these pics are from, people are saying these interior pics are from the current Santa Fe.

Actually if exterior pics of the new Tucson are so hard to come by (there's just one grainy spy shot!), it is hardly credible that they would have these detailed interior pics.

This looks Way much better than the existing one!!
But the most funny thing is here in dubai is starting price is around 49,000 dhms multiply that by 12 for the rupee conversion & in India its starting price is 16 lakhs, what the heck??
By the way its a good car

Interiors are bland! Exterior style looks a bit refreshing, but it surely has many cues from other SUVs in the same segment. Starting from the rear end- more of a RAV4, some bits from the X3.
Overall, a good change from the existing Tuscon look!
