Most beautiful car ... ever!

Hi BHPians.
I've been dying to do this for days and I don't see threads that do justice to car oglers. Ogling at beautiful cars is something I cannot stop doing till the day I kick the bucket.

Here's what I think is the most beautiful one ever. It's the stuff of dreams realized by
some lucky owners. But well. My most beautiful one ever is the Lamborghini Miura.
The lines were extremely beautiful . And those headlamps. Sheer fantasy. The benchmark of the sportscar. The design was timeless in the true sense of the word..This was what made Marcello Gandini really famous. Now I did'nt ever think it needed to move really fast. It seemed so just standing still..

Please write in with your most beautiful ones. I'm sure every one of you have one and have thought of one sometime. Please also mention why you think it is the most beautiful
The photograph I have is from Wikipedia and licensed via Creative Commons..
Hoping to see some lovely ones coming in

*After swooning* - some maharajah's car in India ? Can't guess from the landscape..Brings back this feeling..Couple of years back, I was entering the Royal Orchid hotel in Bangalore for a team meeting and saw a Rolls-Royce Phantom in the flesh..Remembering the feeling.. Heard of Voisins but Your MBCE brings that feeling..Keep 'em coming..

Beautiful looking cars - a short list

Agreed the Miura is a beautiful car. I would like to add five more in a shortlist.

They are

>>> Aston Martin DB4
>>> Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Touring Berlinetta
>>> Jaguar Type E
>>> McLaren MP4-12C (to be launched in 2011),
>>> Lamborghini Espada/(Marzal concept)
and
>>> Lamborghini Miura

Comments please.

P.S.: Is it a co-incidence that all are sports/GT cars (possibly with the exception of the Alfa, although the 8C had a racing lineage) ?

Regards

The Bugatti Royale.. Anyone got pictures that does justice to this beauty??

The modern day rendering of the Alfa 8C Competizione.. Definitely deserves a mention here.

I love the E-type.But which one is the best? Glad to see my babe is in your list!

@R32 - I loved this one too.. The red is intoxicating ..The Alfas (of yore and the new ones) are either really alluring or downright silly..(pardon me)..

rpm,

Although the thread is about one, I think it is difficult, even for one person to be consistent in the face of such delightful beauty.

Hence the list.

I would unhesitatingly add DKG's Voisin 1934 to that list.

My opinion, the cars of the 1930s seem to have a presence which stands above the rest. Remember this was after the crash of 1929, when a lot of wealth was wiped out for the really rich and a lot of marques (Duesenberg, Packard, Peerless, Bugatti and so on) faded away, unable to sell their fabulous cars, either due to the effects of the depression or otherwise.

Ironical isn't it - so much of design and engineering creativity in a period of catastrophic financial decline.

I agree, Sir Alex . I can imagine what passed through the minds of those designers then..
Poignant beauties , eh .Get those pictures in there...Thank God we won't be seeing
that kind of destruction this time round (financial meltdown)

Liked this one .This one is a nice intermix..The front is Alfa bizarre + excess (third headlight ?) The back has a nice B-pillar that reminds
one of the muscle cars..
