I was just going through old posts regarding spyied S class and check this image out, this is spot on the current 2007 S class, wow thats more than a full year in advance, when only we could see highly camo-ed mules..

doesnt it look as if these guys took shot of the actual car rather than a rendering? i am sure mercedes internal designer are involved in leaking such images..

A lot of 'hera pheri' occurs in the industry. I would hate for my designs to be leaked. The first W221 I spotted in real life was in October 2005. Till date, I've seen about 10, the best being a black S500.

I don't know about this, but AutoBild- mainly Huckfelds renderings are ALWAYS said to be spot on. I don't know how, but even the renderings I've seen of the facelift 7 etc. have come out to be accurate. Maybe he has a top-dog in each company which gives out the cues to him?

I've seen some renderings in AutoMotor und Sport mag.....and man that guy whoever he is, needs to work for an auto company...can put many a designer to shame.

Usually the car in questions turns out uglier than his prediction.

you think? when i was in delhi last, i check the new one out, it was a demo car in black..it was nice, but the silver one i saw in chicago auto show was better..anyhow my dad loves black, he thinks its a majestic color, well i think white is more majestic, but unfortunetly the white looks bad on an S class..so i am keeping my fingers crossed for a sep delivery of a silver with black(they should give better options, y cant build to order cars for india be custom colors..anyhow)..

Go for a W140 S600 with it's V twizzie. It comes adorned with top quality Nappa/Helios Leather. Spoil yourself with one of the best that Germany had to offer. Plus, it'll be pretty darn cheap too.

I loved it when it was out, but now

it bores me..i know its been one of the best quality mercs ever, but still for me newer is always better...i love the new S..its awesome, people are not appreciating it just yet, but it is much better than the older one...if i have to pick an older merc it would have to be the prev generation pullman..i know of only 2-3 in india and one was sitting in the delhi showroom for ministry of external affairs(just plain awesome)

I've sat in the W221 S-350 in Black. There's no doubt it's a quality car, and if it's in India that you're gonna be owning, then behind the RR and the Arnages (screw Maybach), there isn't really any other car that'll act as a bigger status symbol. Ride please :P
