2011 Nissan Juke Crossover SUV Car in India: Will it or Won't it ? | Indian Cars & Motorcycles Blog

Below is text
I dont know because I think it is too much of a niche appeal vehicle, given the price they will be forced to charge for it. I saw it in England last March and it really looks cute. However, here it will end up as an urban wannabe's lifestyle vehicle with severely limited mass appeal on account of its size and likely price.
This is the tragedy. All these vehicles which sought to bring motoring to the masses like the VW Beetle, Mini Cooper, Fiat 500 etc are just totally out of reach in the Indian context as are most of the simple utility vehicles which are used by common folk outside but become lifestyle statements for the urban rich, here in India.
Stupid isn't it?

Doubtful as a competition to the Ecosport. A Juke will cost almost same as the Yeti. But yes, much funky looking like the Ecosport

It is indeed a cute car, but not so much of a success in other markets as well. And I guess Nissan will need to gain a bit more ground before bringing in their niche models.

I think this is one really Hot looking Hatch.

The "either you love it or hate it" design certainly appeals to me.

If this was to be launched in India, what could the price point be?
