Koenigsegg's New 910-HP Agera! EDIT: 1,115 BHP Agera R on pg2

Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg celebrates 15 years of making dream cars, by unleashing a new model – the Koenigsegg Agera. Agera is a Swedish verb and it means: “to act”. Agera is also short for the Greek word Ageratos, which in ancient Greek means “ageless”. Power comes from the in-house-built 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 (also powers the CCX) that produces 910 horsepower at 6850 rpm and 1100 Nm of torque (811 lb-ft) at 5100 rpm.
The Agera weighs 1290 kg (2832 lbs) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.9 seconds and the top speed is 390+ km/h (245+ mph).
The Koenigsegg Agera will be produced in parallel to the CCX and CCXR models. No information yet on whether the Agera is an all new model or just an upgraded CCX. Most details should be out in a few days when it debuts in Geneva.

Koenigsegg is a totally different breed of supercars, or rather hypercars! Though, I don't like the LED treatment there.

Looks more of an upgrade of the existing ccx rathet then a whole new model. Those LED'S in the front lights are just too 'forced'. Otherwise I love the koenigsegg.

Only the front lights look a bit after market $50 ones. But the rest of the car looks fab!

And that engine OMG!

Some how every manufacturer has take upon themselves to give their cars a LED treatment. However its important that they know that such a treatment might not work on all the cars. Point in case is the KS over here.

Is got that "trying too hard to get noticed" styling to it. With 910bhp, they should just let the performance do the talking.

And if you're gonna build a car with 705bhp/ton, atleast give it AWD. 0-200 in 8.9 for such a car is shameful. Veyron does 7.2 with 520bhp/ton.

910 horses and without AWD to harness it is sort of scary. The Veyron, I believe, would remain the benchmark, the yard stick, for years to come. About the looks, leaving out the Diwali lights, it's great!

I don't think so.This car looks effortlessly brutal,even though stylistically its just a face-lifted CCX..! I like!
