I like the swooping roofline, but doesn't the back look a bit out of proportion?
Love the wheels!!

Clearest Conti GT spy pics till date!
I wonder if that boot is going to look that hideous in the production version also or is it just a camouflage?

For the first time ever, the Conti will be revealed on their website ContinentalGT.com at 10:00 AM EST on Tuesday, September 7 .

This is going to evoke mixed reactions!

Nice to see the flared nostrils on the hood, a carry-over from the Continental Super-Sports I presume?! The wheels look identical to the older Continental 'Speed' variant's. And I don not understand those rear tail-lights. Are they really that flush with the body work?

All in all, I wouldn't say that it's an improvement over the current one. Just a fresh face!

Those tail lamps look like a sticker add on. Im sure they are trying to hide the design. If you look closely, it is possible to the shape of the lamps below the sticker.

I don't know how Bentley have done it, but they've pulled it off! They've just made the Continental GT a little better! And the old Continental is a cracker of a Bentley! Now the new Flying-Spur, Speed and the Super-Sport would be mouth-watering prospects!

I am not a fan of this one. I still love the present Conti GT.
The rear styling looks bland and that boot lid also does not jell with the rear. The front is too Mulsanne-ish which is already ugly!

So, is every Bentley of this gen. gonna look like the Mulsanne?
They've ruined it IMHO. The earlier ones were really good and had a very distinct character. This one's plain bland.

Mulsanne inspired front and rear seem to have given it a more upright stance. But it doesn't really strike much of a visual difference. Not bad, considering the original couldn't have been bettered much!

I somehow preferred the graceful lines of the original than the kinda butch stance of this car. Its very Mulsanne-ish at the front. That isn't really a very bad thing, but the old front suited the car better IMO. The overall roof-line is still nice, meaning that people will cramp to death in the back seat. But who really cares?

But Shamik, the rear seats are actually quite spacious. That's by 'coupe' standards of course! By other standards, it's pretty horrendous! Although there is the Continental Flying Spur for that!

Re: Spied: New 2nd generation 2011 Bentley continental GT coupe

The rag top roof on the Continental GTC looks tiny in comparison to the rest of the car. The elegance of the GT is simply not there.
