Looks like a MPV. A little too much plastic like a Mahindra though. Is it only for S America?

What an ugly design!!!

FIAT is known for its elegant designs, and then they come up with this! Seems like the designers got confused whether they had to draw a hatch/ softroader/ SUV! Just look at those plastic wheel arches on the green 'pseudo-SUV'!

Yukky to say the least.
Remember seeing this contraption sometime back in another thread.

This is a wonderful design of the new Uno.totally and radically different from the old 70s knocked out version.

Seems apt that they plan to produce it in Russia cause looks like it was designed by some Russian design house. Cars in WWII era looked better than this in Russia. Ghastly to say the least! But then again, looks are subjective and we already have 2 members who liked it.

It may not be best looking but it will be very spacious like earlier Uno and good city hatch.

Looks awful IMO. Why the 3 slats on the grill only on one side? Looks weird. I quite like the interiors though, especially the funky speedo console. I'd think this does have a high chance of coming into India

The pedals are too close, typically Fiat. Whats cool? The digital fuel and temperature gauge. Overall seems pretty ok if launched at Alto prices in India. What do you guys think?

Switch panel on the lower left of the steering seems to be the same as the one in the Punto. The gear lever is pretty similar to the one offered on the lower version Palio 1.2's.

Wow

awesome looks so refreshing after seeing all the century old designs from maruti and the rest. Looks like a mini SUV, if launched at a decent price might do well.

Terrible exterior design, too unlike a Fiat. Fiat always had good exterior designs, and pretty OK interiors. This seems to have gone a very different way. I feel the interiors are well thought out, without commenting about the plastics, but the exteriors take a lot of getting used to. Fiat seems to have gone the "practicality" way, by providing a good interior and boot space. In a way, this is reminiscent of the erstwhile Uno in terms of practicality and also the fact is that the exteriors of both these cars are boring, and too minimalistic.

I believe this is what will come to India as a Palio replacement in 2011/2012. Fiat will be taking a big risk by retaining that name in India when they bring it on. Whether it pays off or not, only time will tell.

I don't know why but I like the exterior looks of that green one which doesn't has body colored bumpers. It has aggressive looks like a mini suv.
