Mercedes. It simply exudes class. The BMW is a good looking car, but it has a bit of a yuppie image. I know I will be a bit older when I get my 'big car', , and imho, a BMW comes nowhere close to a Mercedes when it comes to class.

I voted BMW!

For me, that would be the marque, I would love to drive compared to the two. The new BMW M5, The X5 and The 6 series are awesome cars, I would love to own. BMW is more radical and aggressive looking than a Merc anyday. Their line up is more sporty and performance oriented.

Beemers are for the young and the young at heart whereas Merc's are for the oldies!

Neither. If I have to go German I'd pick an Audi these days. If I had money to burn regardless of the consequences I guess I'd pick up a Jag. XJ Sovereign Edition or an XK.

someone's signature on the forum goes like, "all you need in life is a benz", i'm just going to go with that.
the concept is simple, b for "Boys" and b for "BMW", m for "Men" and m for "Mercedes".

manson.

p.s. couldn't get cheesier than this.

If you asked me this question a few months back I would have said Mercedes...but after my 4 years horrifying experience with my Merc, I highly doubt i would get one again. Just cant wait for BMW to launch offical in India.... hopefully one of the first batch BMW that rolls out of the production line will make it to my parking space for sure! So as of now its BMW alllllll the way for me!!

I have always loved Mercs (most of us do I think) but if it came to buy one and only one I would go for the Beemer

If the 220 stays trouble-free, then it would be mercedes for me. But it has only been 3,000 kms so far, and my previous C180 did not give any problems until after 10,000 kms.

Its a big "IF". Therefore I am not going to vote just yet but will wait and watch.

GTO,
Trust me man there are gonna be tons of trouble after 10000km .. Experience from my E220CDI ...
So my choice now obviously is a BMW ... But who knows if even that car has a problem ...
Cheers

I wonder why there are are more Merc's than Beemers in India when the voting shows something else. I hope Bmw gets moer dealers open soon.
