SCOOP : Nissan V platform-based sedan

1) The car is not looking good, specially the way roof slopes after the B-pillar.

2) Although the car is yet to be seen without camouflage, the boot is not so nicely integrated. Also IMO, the shape of the boot might not be so practical, but again we are not sure of exact dimensions.

3) The rear headroom might take a hit due to the sloping design.

4) If one compares the front and the rear end clearly they looks as if both are taken from different vehicles. Not good IMO. The car loses its identity in this design pattern.

5) It would be really nice if Nissan manages to give altogether a different look to the front end of the car. May be they can take cues from Sentra sold in US, but that would give the car a better overall proportioned looks. Also this would help it differentiate the sedan from hatch.

6) Larger and more powerful powerplants will be required for this sedan.

Nissan sends in the following clarification:

Oh dear! The camouflaged car itself looks so bad! The front end like a Indigo Manza and the the rear end like a Swift Dzire!
Really not a good combination..

Looks like a Manza except the boot which looks like Dzire's. Any update since the pics were from July?

The Nissan Versa is a similar Extension Job like the Swift Dzire & this one looks like an upgrade to the Versa.

The rear and side profile as well as the tail lights look like Nissan Altima (USA) to me.

Teana formula into a smaller car is my first impression. Should definitely look better than the Dzire's back. The camouflage hides the lines so we need to wait for the real deal
