SCOOP : Nissan V platform-based sedan

pics from indian autos blog and sina dot com dot cn

Clarification from Nissan:
Quote:
It is incorrect to refer to it as the Micra sedan. It's not a sedan based on Micra platform and has no connection with the Micra.

from the looks of it, the front resemble Indigo Manza & rear resembles Dzire !

Is that what i see ?? I guess it would look better in flesh, Nissan is known for swooping stylish designs anyway

Folks, only the tail lamp resembles Dzire. This looks like Nissan Altima which is a quite successful model in North America.

It looks too big for a Micra based car.

Seriously !!

It looks like the result of a one night stand between a Manza and a Dzire !!
They took inspiration from the ugliest vehicles and designed this one.
BTW there is a thread on the V Platform Sedan on Team Bhp, maybe the mods could combine these 2.

It looks Dzire to me rather than a Nissan Micra based sedan, only because of the shape of the taillights.

Further, with the new Swift due for launch, new Dzire should be on the way.

I really doubt they are developing a new dzire as of now. The Dzire is an 'India Only' vehicle and the current one is doing so well that they wont even think of launching a new one anytime soon. Maruti did the Dzire boot add job, and im sure they will do so again. Makes sense for Maruti to keep producing the existing Dzire using the current generation Swift Parts as they have already invested in the technology and at the same time launch the next gen swift.

The side profile looks like the Teana. I am sure it will be much better looking than the DZire.

Also, this thread should be in the Indian Car Scene section, because Nissan had announced that the Micra sedan will be their next offering after the hatch.
