A refreshing change from the drab earlier looks, should do the car a power of good. Funny how the rear recessed bumper has become sorta 'Accordesque'.

Hmmm it looks like the current Avalon to me. Toyota recycling the styling between models?

And we read recently that the new Avalon is headed for India, slotted against the Skoda Superb....is there really a market for two manufacturers at that slot???

Between the two though, I'd pick the Avalon blindfolded - regardless of engine options for the Indian version.

I see a lot of Toyota Avalon, the Accord and the Mazda 6 in that.

Likewise. A lot of Accord and Avalon influence. But these are surely a artists impressions of what the new Camry will be like.

Always loved the Camry, even though it wast an eye charmer as the Accord, but this ones straight from the box and it looks great,a lot of detailing going on the body.

I had started the thread in the India car scene section and I think according to autocar this time the camry will come to india almost at the same time as japan and US..so we should expect it starting march or april I believe..

Toyota unveiled the 2007 Camry at the North American International Auto Show.

Engine Specs: 2.4L 4cylinder VVT-i 158hp@6000rpm. 3.5L V6 Dual VVT-i 268hp@6200rpm!.

Nice clean interiors

I never liked the Camry and I still don't. The looks do nothing for me. It's typical Toyota. Conservative and BORING!

the new camry is not for me. I will stick to my good ol' ford mondeo.

its still the best looking car in the segment even after loosing the xenons.

The Camry will have to do better than this to get along with the Accord, Civic etc...
