Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

The kink in the pillar looks very similiar to the Citroen DS3.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

Looks like Honda threw the Jazz in an industrial washing machine and out came a stretched contraption called the shuttle station wagon, which by the way appears more like a van.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

What a surprise - Is the Jazz lacking space?

Jazz compact Crossover in plan!

Quote:
Honda is planning to launch a compact crossover version of the Jazz. Well placed sources have told Japanese analysts that the model will be targeted primarily at Europe and the US, and it is hoped up to 400,000 units per year could be produced.
Quote:
Unlike with previous Jazzes, Honda is giving its regions greater autonomy to engineer the Jazz outside of Japan to suit local markets.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

New Jazz Shuttle MPV/Crossover is unveiled.

IMHO, It looks more suitale rival to Innova than Mobilio which seems to be a baby MPV.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

This should have been the Mobilio! Not the Brio derivative we have now which is no good for a sedan leave alone a MPV. If Honda brings this to our shore, it's got great potential provided they don't screw up the pricing.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

Honda should get this to India. It may turn out to be a worthy competitor to the Toyota Innova assuming they price this baby right. But on a flip side it may end up killing the Mobilio.

Now, Jazz shuttle is not a MPV, it is the Estate version of Jazz - i.e. it is a 5 seater. Estates were never looked upon as cars in India - they were always BIG failures.

Assume Honda adds a third row into it - exclusively for India, cost will come into picture. Cost matters and that is why we dont get the sexy Vezel. Honda will have to place the Jazz shuttle against the Innova and not the Ertiga. If at all this comes to India, it will be priced above the City (Remember, Honda has officially stated that building a Jazz and City almost costs the same for them - So this version will be more costly).

You are correct. It will be a competition to Innova - also will be car-like to drive and should offer a better ride. But I dont think it will end up killing Mobilio. Mobilio is already dead, aint it??

Re: Honda to develop Brio-based compact SUV

Brio based SUV now patented in India. Design cues from Mobilio ?
