Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

Feast your eyes on the ugliest Honda ever designed-the Fit shuttle station wagon. Based on an extended jazz platform, it will be launched in japan in march with a 1.3 i-vtec motor. These are leaked brochure shots courtesy carscoop.

I think its pretty good looking and really practical. Wont make sense in India though. The extended portion seems really well integrated.

I think it would make a great taxicab.

People who want smart looks still have the regular Fit to choose.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

It looks great to me

The rear is extremely well integrated with the rest of the body, especially the wraparound glass

Next on Honda cards is convert the JAZZ to a sedan. Imagine removing the glassy part of this. ;-)

Buddy the Jazz Sedan is the Honda City !!
The city is a reskinned Jazz and shares a lot with the jazz.

Any weirdiness in this design would be removed if only they had just removed the metal body part in the C pillar and made that too in glass. Also a different front end would have changed the whole look.

Luckily the Cpillar can be painted black easily.

Oops, didn't occur to me about that.Just a blacked area would be okay and will improve the side profile.

Front looks great, but the rear and side looks makes me feel like a canopy fitment in Tata Xenon.

Honda Fit (Jazz) Shuttle

Honda has launched a new version of the Fit (Jazz in India) called Fit Shuttle in Japan. Looks more like an estate variant of the Jazz. Notwithstanding our dislike towards estate-type cars, this looks a good fit for India, especially if it is priced closer to the City. Here are some pictures

Re: Honda Fit (Jazz) Shuttle

Looks quite similar to the Honda Odyssey van. Knowing Honda in India, they would price this closer to the Civic. At the same time, this one will never make it to India.

Re: Honda Fit (jazz) Shuttle station wagon

Station wagon = hatchback + some metal in the middle.

Honda seems to have followed this religiously. Except that they thought they could have some fun with the metal and make it as odd as possible.

Very awkward metal panel at the rear and way too much glass (2 rear panels and rear windshield). If that is sorted out, I think I wouldn't mind it in my garage.

It's got quite a Innova-type look.

PS : The round petrol lid doesn't suit it at all, does it? A rectangular one would have fitted better.
PPS : Isn't the front CRV'ed?
