Re: The 2013 Chinese Grand Prix

Watching FP3 Live now. And SS has now taken a commercial break and is showing an advt for the Chinese GP.

Who makes these dumb decisions? As a viewer, am I more interested in seeing the Live FP or an advertisement for the race tomorrow?

Top 10 in Q2:
Hamilton, Alonso, Vettel, Massa, Rosberg, Raikkonen, Button, Grosjean, Ricc & Hulk
Mercedes and Ferrari looking mighty quick, whereas Force India seem to have lost pace from yesterday.

Final results:
1. Hamilton, 2. Raikkonen, 3. Alonso, 4. Rosberg, 5. Massa, 6. Grosjean, 7. Ricciardo, 8. Button, 9. Vettel, 10. Hulkenberg
Hamilton's first pole for Mercedes, Kimi sets really fast Sector 1 and mistake from Rosberg in the final corner.

Vetted had to abandon his lap as he went off on the mediums. Hamilton on pole followed by the iceman followed by Alonso. I am sure we are in for a treat tomorrow

Stonkign lap by Lewis. Kimi as usual showing what a good package Lotus have.
Red Bull have taken a big risk. They are not setup to do a lot of overtaking and being P9 puts them in danger of being overtaken in the 1st corner melee.

Didnt expect FI to be so low down the order.

Exciting race coming up for sure!

Hammy buay is on his way to a win. Vettel, I'm expecting to get into a retirement owing to a crash trying exuberant overtaking.
Perez, DO something man.

I'm hoping both McLarens make it in with some good points.

So disappointing to see FI go out in Q2, perhaps they'll have something planned for the races.
Hamilton for the win. Should make for an interesting first corner with all three world champions going in there together especially alonso and Hamilton.
Could be anyone's race though with different people starting on different tyres in the top ten.

Kimster to win followed by Hamilton or nando. Promises to be an exciting race.

Re: The 2013 Chinese Grand Prix

That was a mighty lap from Lewis. Nico made a mistake on the final corner. China is happy hunting ground for Lewis and Mercedes.

The Lotus and Ferrari look good in the race trim and if they can keep the car together in the initial laps, we will have a cracker of a race tomorrow.

Vettel will be on Medium and it should be very interesting towards the end of race. Let's see how long he can go on that tyre in the first stint. Mark was sent to the back of the grid by stewards as he stopped on track will low fuel.

The first half of Q3 was a shame with everyone in the pits saving the all important tyres for tomorrow.

Bianchi was superb in Q3.

Oh typo!

I would love to see Bianchi in a car which can break into Q3 though.

Race fact: Apparently, this is Kimi' first front row start since the comeback.

All I want to say is last year was a Mercedes podium, and hope for the same this time around.

Let things roll.
Thanks Mayankk for the thread

I missed a thread as i had too many restorations at hand last week.

I missed the qualifying, as i had to get my Beetle prepped up for the vintage drive tomorrow.

And, I will miss tomorrow's race, as i will be attending the Vintage and Classic car drive happening tomorrow.

What a qualifying it must have been, Mercedes GP has something to do with China for the P1.

Looks like Webber is paying a huge price for his big hue and cry after the last race.

Hoping for an exciting race tomorrow, and just hoping i will be able to catch some part of it atleast somewhere.
