Re: 2014 Japanese GP - Suzuka Circuit - Race Thread

Hamilton says that the Pirelli wet tyre is less effective than that produced by the previous supplier, Bridgestone forcing drivers to be on the faster 'intermediate' which is a risk. Vettel says the wet tyre has an extremely narrow window. Paul Hembery' response to that is not very comforting.

Brawn, Domenicali join F1 accident panel to look into Bianchi crash

They join GPDA president Alex Wurz who will be the drivers' representative.

Quote:
Led by Peter Wright, who is president of the FIA's Safety Commission, the panel will spend the next few weeks going over in detail the events leading up to Bianchi's crash - as well as make recommendations to ensure that there can be no repeat in the future.

The group will begin its work this week and a full presentation of its findings is due to be presented to the FIA's World Motor Sport Council on December 3.
I think its a great panel and hopefully the sport will be better off come Dec 3. Forza Jules!

I too was thrilled to see this, but if you look carefully, they say that they've taken him off the medication that kept him in an artificial coma, but he's still unconscious. :(
