A very bad joke and very much on the wrong moment. He should rather hold his tongue. If he wants to blame somebody, then Renault and Alonso are the ones best deserved for it.

But this guy was always known to be a sliptongue. very much like his date Naomi campbell!

HELL YEAH .... This season has been rigged !!! YES .. schumi is the 7 time world champion but you all do know how he won 2- 3 of his world titles and what all **** hes done just to win them ... Schumi should have left when he had the chance (AFTER WINNING HIS 7TH TITLE ) . People just dont wanna look at anything after schumi ... but sad news .. there is a lot to look at now and youll now that . When alonso had a big lead in the championship standings over schumi during the early stages of the the 06' clender there were no problems with the dampners used in the renaults but all of a sudden when micheal n ferrari closed in on the points the stewards brought up the dampner topic !!! Every 1 knows the season has been fixed but you just dont wanna accept it .Schumi has been awesome during all the years when ever he has won the chapionship but who was there to challenge him . NO 1 COULD MESS AROUND WITH ARYTON SENNA ..... NOT EVEN SCHUMI ... Schumi became what ever he is now after the late Aryton Sennas death . People say that Schumi is better than senna and the records prove it .. do you think if the fatefull crash at imola wouldnt have taken place would schumi be able to be as big as he is now .......... ? And if he was alive think of the records then . even if senna turned 40 .. he would still continue racing .

Just as a 1 of the best racers said ... I WOULD CALL IT A ACHIEVEMENT IF I SHOWED SENNA THAT THERE IS A LOT MORE IN LIFE THAN RACING ...

As of now .... Its FONZI ALL THE WAY !!!!

Hats off the MICHEAL SCHUMACHER IN HIS YEARS IN F1 .

@Varun.agree with you.
Shumi did not kill Senna so it is not his fault that the world could not see who was better.people just want to tarnish him one way or the other.

Alonso is the official cry baby of F1.

  • Even without the penalty MS would have won anyway.
  • Alonso would have come in a close third instead of a distant third he was at (before blowup)
  • The penalty was a mistake, Massa was not blocked
  • Now, only thing to consider is....did the Renaulat engineers tweak the engine to more revs just because Alonso had to come up from 10th?
  • If that caused the blowup, then its unfair for Alonso...(this is of course a hugely debatable thing)
  • who deserved the 3rd place and who knows maybe more.
  • At the end, Alonso did take revenge on Massa by dousing him with oil and debris which forced him to pit for tires and loose 4-5 places

i dont think the championship is fixed..
but the FIA are majorly supporting ferrari

alonso did not block massa.. yet he got penalised..
the mass damper issue.. how can the FIA change the rules midway during a season ?
ferrari benefit again..

flavio's comments are a result of all that built up frustration..
i dont really blame him for speaking out

no one can predict what would happen if alonso had started from 5th..
the question is why was he made to start from 10th place

i dont think alonso is bothered about revenge ( i.e. massa)
massa finishing 9th is insignificant
the championship is far more important.. and now the gap is 2 points

that said..
it makes the last 3 races very exciting !

For starters, look at things from the other perspective. Renault are lucky that they were allowed to run cars with an illegal part for so many races and notch-up wins because of it. They were also allowed to keep the points they earned in all those races with their mass damper-equipped cars, once the part was deemed illegal. Rules were not changed mid-season, they were clarified. It has always been that way, it will continue to be. Any time there is a loop-hole and somebody exploits it, the FIA will make a ruling that clarifies the rule.

Where were all the "Ferrari is being favoured" puppets when the FIA disallowed Ferrari's moving wings earlier this season? When Michael was sent to the back of the grid for unsporting behaviour at Monte Carlo? When the points system was changed specifically to stop Michael from scoring HUGE points victories over his compatriots a couple of seasons ago? When he was disqualified from the standings for his crash with Villeneuve?

The way I see it, Alonso is lucky he was (wrongly) given a five-place penalty. Had he not been, the stewards would have penalised him with a drive-through penalty for jumping the first chicane during the race and not handing-back the advantage he gained to the cars that took the corner correctly. They were lenient that time.

It's easy to start crying foul. The bottom line is, you win some, you lose some. Take it in the right spirit and quit moaning about it.

I think both Flavio and Fernando have been drinking a lil too much bubbly at the Millionaires club(owner FLAVIO) in Monaco...
Guys.. lay off the sauce and pay more attention to the tarmac please... you bunch of WIMPS!!
@Hatari... would you like to join them at the club and drown your sorrows too .. with reference to the FIA 'HELPING' Ferrari... shesh dude... quit the moaning.. the FIA changed the rules when Ferrari was so dominant coz the rest of the teams were going BOO HOO.... DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE... Ferrari and Michael are back..
EDIT: 500th POST.. and what a nice way to bring it in too... lol!!!

Renault were using the mass damper from last year.
The FIA clearly new about it.
they didnt even bother to 'clarify' it all year.
why make it illegal when alonso is leading the championship ?

how can u not say that it had a lot to do with ferrari's influence and the FIA's scarlet bias ?

so why did they ban the flexi-wingi thinge, and for the record the mass damper complaint was made by Mclaren and not Ferrari, what you forget to acknowledge is that Ferrari were ahead of Renault before the MD's were banned, remember France and USA.

Clarified or not clarified earlier, how does it make it alright to run the race with illegal parts? If they are illegal, they better be removed. One should consider lucky to go scot free so far.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo chose not to answer the claims.

"While I accept that there are people who talk about Ferrari from time to time, there is someone who talks too much and who missed a good opportunity to stay quiet," he told AFP
"In life you need to have a little bit of class and so I prefer not to respond."

Very well put.
