As expected, the cars are bunched up closer.
RBR strong around here.

FP2 standings.

Renault clearly showing gains at the hands of the Hulk.
McLaren still hanging in there.

Frequent interruptions and red flags mean the long run programs are affected at least for a few.

Thanks Xavier!

Please check the timings for qualifying and the race again.

The F1 site shows both telecasts at 1730 IST.

Cheers

Paul di Resta replaces unwell Massa for Hungarian Grand Prix. Williams reserve driver Paul di Resta is set for a shock first appearance in Formula One since 2013 as Felipe Massa's stand-in after the Brazilian was taken ill ahead of qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Ferrari on top.clap:
McLaren still hanging in there. Stoffel seems to have found his Mojo :D

PaulDiResta is getting ready for the qualifying in place of Massa.

Just when it looked like it will be smooth sailing for Mercedes for remaining season, Ferrari pulled one up! There was no answer to Ferrari pace. Hope its going to be good race tomorrow. Vettel P1 Raikonnen P2.

Qualifying : Ferrari front row lock out.

The thing to remember is that the Hungarian GP winner has not gone on to win the championship in a long time.

The crowd seemed to be enjoying it.

Ferrari need a clean start, Merc need to jump at least one Ferrari off the line to have strategic breathing room. Red Bull could cause problems if their cars don't blow up. Verstappen Vs Hamilton could be explosive, esp. given Max has nothing to lose.

Interesting race on the cards, more ways than one :D

Just what was needed for Ferrari and the championship. Hopefully this isn't a one off. :D

Here is Vettel with his P1.

I really expected RBR to be much stronger here. If Max gets ahead of the Mercedes at the start tomorrow, it will be very hard for the German team in the race. And Kimi should take care to not fall behind.

Also, McLaren got a sweat chassis or what? No wonder the leaders aren't giving them the engines.

McLaren does have a decent chassis.
The claims of the PU power difference as well as the chassis capabilities are all a bit exaggerated in my opinion.
The pecking order is clear however, and Honda are still behind Renault for sure but by how much? That's the question.
Hopefully the next spec of Honda PU expected around Spa would answer that.

Both drivers are upbeat.
I liked it the way Stoffel said he could hold the Force India's behind.

Qualifying Highlights.

Kimi is on the front row and Paul Di Resta is back!

I believe the winner at Albert Park and Sakhir in the same season has never lost the WDC either.

Something's gotta give. :D

And another grand prix comes to an end win Vettel, Kimi and Bottas on the podium. And it's not everyday you get to see Hamilton letting a teammate pass him. That adds a 14 point gap again in the championship standings between him and Vettel.
