Re: Gymkhana legend Ken Block passes away

This is such a tragic news! Shocked and really sad. Ken Block was a magician with cars. What amazing control! The way he drove and the way he spoke was very cool. Was hooked on to watching all his videos. Used to wait for his Gymkhana stuff. Showed his videos to my friends just to see them getting astonished by Block's skills. Edge of the seats stuff! Followed his rallying career when he raced in the WRC. Last year he missed the American Rally Association championship by a whisker. Hoped he could get it this year. Was also looking forward to see what he would be able to do in his new partnership with Audi. He had so much more to contribute. Thank you for all those thrilling moments. Rest in Peace Ken Block. Godspeed. May god give strength to his family.

Same film, but the Director's cut Slo-Mo of the it was something that I really fell in love with.

Re: Gymkhana legend Ken Block passes away

Such a great tragedy
He is a great inspiration and real entertainer. My 67 year old dad, me and my 7 year and 4 year old sons watch his rally videos together.

"We truly miss you Sir and you will live in our hearts. You are a true legend."
God give strength to his family.

Gone too soon. Rest in peace Mr.HOONIGAN.

My favorite.

Michael Schumacher, Colin McRae, Paul Walker and now Ken Block. Just doing what they love in their personal time and suddenly something happens that changes everything for their families. Cruel.

Edit: The below video was from two weeks ago.

This was really shocking! Ken Block is an automotive legend and the only person I recognize from gymkhana.

Rest in peace!

He really knew how to do city tours

A Tragic start to the year for the automobile lovers throughout the world.

I’ll always remember the stunts he performed in that beast of a Ford Fiesta at Gymkhana, Rest in Peace.

Re: Gymkhana legend Ken Block passes away

His death is quite shocking. We ended last year with a sad note with the death of the great Pele (I know he is not related to cars and bikes but his impact cannot be ignored) and this year with this man.

Such a tragedy. Loved his videos especially the one in Top Gear where he takes Matt LeBlanc in his 69 Hoonicorn Mustang on a tour of London

Also Need for Speed fans had a chance to interact with him in Need For Speed 2015.

GodSpeed to his family.

Absolutely shocked and gutted to hear about his demise. Grown up watching him doing those astonishing drifts. That Ford series had always made me stick to screen watching him. A legend! Tribute to you and thoughts with family.

Absolutely brilliant driving and photography/filming!

It was the first time I heard about him watching this TopGear episode. I have been a fan of him ever since.

Very sad ending of somebody so young and full of energy and talent.
