If Schumacher is to win this years championship, Weber is saying and asking Schumacher to quit, which I dont thing is a good idea. Obvs being a fan you want him to stay but I think he has that much gas left in his tank which can go for atleast 2 yrs.
Mass Dampers are now temporarly permitted on the cars! So Renault wont struggle as much as they did before. My bet would be MS, FM, KR. Hope Alonoso doesnot finish that would surely heat the championship more.
With the test ban in place, Ferrari should be able to maintain their advantage, but remember Renault will run this race with mass dampners. So they will claw back on their disadvantage to some extent.
It should be really close and free practice timining should give us an indication.
Ok, I will stick to the german grand prix podium, with a DNF for FA;)
here goes..
1. MS
2. FA
3. FM
4. KR
5. GF
6. JT
very difficult to justify my choices..
renualt will definately improve in hungary.. but by how much ?
they should cure the blistering.. but will not be quick enough to win i'm thinking..
toyota are doing really well in terms of race pace..and the way the TF106B manages the bridgestones..
reliability permitting ofcourse.. they have been really poor in that area
alonso in particular has become very dependant on the mass dampner device and the way the car handles as a result..
thus the expected improvement in hungary

According to me, it might be
- Kimi
- Schumacher
- Massa or even Button

1. Kimi:Shockked: ! Sorry dude and other Kimi fans, i don't think Kimi is gonna win a race in this season atleast. I hope i am wrong coz he is a really good driver and deserves much more praise than Fonsi anyday:)
I expect Renault to bounce back after a terrible race at Hockenheim as they will be allowed to use their mass damper system and the tyre blister caused was also due to the removal of that system.
So here goes my prediction-
1.FA
2.MS
3.Fisi
4.Kimi or Massa
Well here it goes again... as usual.... KIMI for me....
Just hope the pit stops go well...
1 Mclaren
2 Mclaren
3 Who Cares
With the kinda form Ferrari, Schumacher and Massa are in, they should be able to bag this one, just like the previous races.
As for Fonsi, he should lose his cool sometime, and he usually does pust a bit too much making mistakes, a few of which we saw in the last race..
Well Ferrari are looking so good because all of a sudden drop in Renault's performance i think. Lets see how good is Renault this time.
Kubica will replace injured Villeneuve. There is already rumours floating that Villeneuve might not come back to his seat at BMW.
hungary should be a great race ... especally now that the drivers championship is so close this should be interesting
Free practice - 2
Massa ------1.21.778
Alonso ------1.23.097
Fisi ---------1.23.189
Door -------- 1.23.195
Davidson ---- 1.23.498
Ralf ----------1.23.747
Trulli ---------- 1.23.771
MS ------------ 1.23.931
Heidfeld-------- 1.23.934
kubica --------- 1.24.106
If you notice, Massa is faster than everyone by more than a second... if status quo is maintained over the weekend, then ferrari are in a very comfortable position.
