But if it's 15000+ then its gonna be a traffic nightmare!

Car-pooling anyone from south mumbai?
Sure, i wouldn't mind car-pooling.

PM me your cell number and i'll get in touch with you by saturday night or sunday morning.
i had Mr. Nitin Dossa in my office for some work in the morning and this is what he's told me:
- do not take cars, cause there is going to be no parking near the venue.
- regular ticket holders better take your place by 1:30
- VIP ticket holders can come by 3.
- be prepared to walk a lot.
- today was a traffic meet so other details will be worked out. I'll post more details on friday/saturday.

Anyone else from south mumbai interested in car-pooling, PM me.

@Speedy: Will being a WIAA member help in getting better passes?

@ F50

Event starts at 4:00pm. He will do a couple of straight runs and then a few doughnuts. There may be a two seater version coming in and he will drive some children and competition winners.

@ Rehaan

I have no idea. Will find out.

Mr. Dossa is coming in tomorrow as well, so please post all queries by tonight so that i can ask him.

@ Sahil

No. I don't think so.

event has been called off & Mika went to out of India within hours of landing in Mumbai. Super quick for a former F1 champ.

Its good that the event has been called off with situations so tense in the city.

However, ads on the radio and preparations of the event still seem on in full swing. Just this morning I drove past the event venue on my way to work and almost everything seems to be completed, the stage, seating etc.

Its sad to see the event being cancelled, but given the fact that the city is in grip of a terror situation its a wise decision.
I am sure that every event manager is going to think really hard before planning any thing in Mumbai now. Just imagine the amount of money that has gone down the drain.
My sympathies with all those affected by the terror strike. May God be with all Mumbaikars.

I had gotten passes day before yesterday, and from yesterday wanted it to be cancelled. It is a really sad situation and no one will enjoy car show or F1 driving in such an atmosphere.
