& about JPM it is pretty clear that McLaren is the best car on grid this season so there was nothing wrong with expecting that McLaren will bounce back,
I was not talking about cars but about commentator. I was surprised too.
I just wish that Mclaren will be able to produce such a fast car next season with Ferrari back to its dominant form. That would be fun.

Why o why does Aditya speak my mind. Brundle and Walker have rocked since ages. Brundle still commentates of iTV F-1 and we were lucky to get it on DD Metro in 2003 till the channel shut down.

Chris Goodwin is (was?) a McLaren test driver. If my guess is correct he also was a DTM driver with the Mercedes AMG team. So the bias there is evident.

Steve Slater turned pro MS from 2001. The reasons are rather understood i guess.

Chris is a bit more mature in his approach, but not by much. Either ways, commentators all over have their personal biases. Cricket included. The only difference is, a good one will speak high of a certain X person, a truly great one will never reveal his preference until he retires and is asked to do a writeup on his 10 best drivers of all time. Ask a Johnny named Walker.

Yes, thats right ... he's good .. but the ITV broadcast (not Brundle in particular) in the UK also gets pretty sickening at times with them going button button button all the time

I disagree
as commentators & entertainers Kieth Hewan and Julian ryder are the Best Ever. they were so into the races man, very passionate and very good .
And they were like the rest of us , getting carried away by the action.
Who can forget criers of OOOOOHHH & AAAAAHHHhooow
whenvere there was a close Rossifumi & nori Haga mad overtaking move
as well as my Fathers favoutire - Fogy Foggy Fogggggy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those guys were the most Kick ass commentators ever

sorry for the slight OT!!

Goodwin is anything but biased towards MSC and Ferrari. He is on Mercedes-Mclaren's payroll and praises the team/car/driver to no end!! Its ok for 2005 but he went on about Mclaren being awesome etc. etc. even in 2002 & 2004 when in fact it was an acheivement if Mclarens even finished the entire race distance !!!

Steve is a MSC + Ferrari fan. He's also a big goof up. He cant identify drivers and all his judgements are really stupid. He must calm down a bit. Goodwin ofcourse is the better of the two. He understands much more and thinks before opening his mouth !

In 2004 Mp4/19 was pretty impressive on occasions during testing pre-season
& in 2002 the McLaren was the second best car for first half season
