Hey Psycho,

Awesome stuff man.... the paintjob in those pics looks very GT500 ... or maybe its that front bumper?

Darn...the Webbers are gonna be awesome in there.
Thanks for uploading these pics.... i have heard a LOT of TBHPians talk about the conti conversion to a muscle car...and i guess they can live vicariously through you on this one!

Please tell me you are planning to put some nice alloys on ? got any pics of em?

cheers

WOw!! Psycho!! If India didnt have a CJ-3B, a contessa would be the project I would have picked...as a complete restoration.

As Rehaan had tipped me during my restoration, take pictures of every stage. How about putting a T-Bar with huge fogs on the front (without a bumper) and some meaty alloys.

That's no bumper. A stock Conti dosen't have it. It looks more like a front spoiler - Jag XJ40 style!

Awesome stuff Keshav!

Hi Guys,

The cars coming together beautifully, its been a long month to restore it and getting the paintjob to perfection. The front bumper that you mentioned is in fact a front spoiler as the car looked too broad, just got it put there to make it look a bit more meaty... I am not thinking of side skirts or mags for now will hold off till my pockets are a bit heavier.

As for the fogs I am not being able to decide as the car looks great without them... maybe I ought to put up a poll once I have the car completed...

Shelby! Shelby! Shelby!

Simply fantastic...and congratulations on completion. I must say that you have made up for the alloy wheels in a pretty sweet way with the black finish and chrome outline.

You desperately need a thicker exhaust tip. And get rid of that spoiler.

GTO

P.S. Did I just hear that you crossed 180 kph with Rudra in the passenger seat?

Yes, it took Rudra 3 whisky's to recover from that when I met him later that night......and then I gave him a dose of mildly whisky tuned VTec and showed him what his ex tyres could do!

Hey Psycho!

finally! the pics i have been waiting to see!!

The car looks awesome...especially from the front man. nice paintjob.

However i kinda agree with everyone about the spoiler..... but one thing that gets my eye worse than that is the red on the wheels.... please please please reconsider :P

Great job man!
What mechanical mods have been done (or are in planning)?

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Also pictures never do justice to the car. Last night I was yet another one to first handed-ly experience Psycho's car. And I am absolutely bowled over. The car looks menacing, in the night, it is like a hunter on the prowl, looking for mere Jap cars to prey upon. If Shelby would have ever made a car for India, this is what it would look like. When a person loves is car no-holds barred, it rewards you like nothing else, and otheres too. The engine noise is bloody addictive, a few beers down, and two in the morning I could still hear the sound ringing in the ears. I was so ecstatic, I slept all the way to the afternoon. The most sound sleep I have had in months. The interiors look great too, much of it is stock, except the front headrests (??), except a tachometer. Man, the car runs, much like a bull terrier with it's posterior on fire. While passing other mere motorists as if they were standing still, this baby can corner too. Not restrained by it's bulk, the car seemed utterly behaved on the Ring Road (was it Pasycho?), with bumps midways large radius corners, the car was poised. There was no hint of off-the-line adventures, I guess much is to be credited to it's 15 inchers. I am throughly smitten by his car, and I know what project to take up once I start raking in the moolah. Fantastic job buddy, there is still so much that I am unable to put down in words.
