| Introduction
Hi All,
I just became a member of this community and this being my very first post, I would like to introduce myself.
Being born and bought up in Pune, I am a Puneite, unlike the typical Puneri folks.
I am an Electronics Engineer by education and work as a Software Architect in an US based Company that specialises in offering a fully automated, SaaS based, infrastructure monitoring platform. Prior to this, I had co-founded a IT security startup that was eventually acquired by my current employer.
I have been married for the last 17 years and have two lovely kids. I stay in a joint family with my parents and my younger brother & his family.
My tryst with the ‘wheeled’ kind started when I was a 5 year old kid who would love to spend hours in Garage owned by my Uncle. I have spent better part of my engineering days helping my Uncle in his work - the primary attraction being getting an opportunity to ride all sorts of two wheelers that visited our Garage. I still remember the exhilarating rides on RX100s and vintage Royal Enfield Bullets during my college days.
Being a Puneri, I am more of a bike person than a car person (reason being the narrow roads and sorry state of public transportation in Pune) - I have owned a Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Karizma in the past and my current ride is the very capable Honda CB500X.
I do love to drive as well and regularly travel to various places with my family. I have owned a Tata Indica DLS & Honda City ZX in the past and now I own a Toyota Innova V 2.5 D-4D.
I have been reading the various posts on this forum for a long time and continue be to amazed by variety and quality of the content. I am glad to be a part of this community and I look forward to interacting with you all.
