as for mods....well my cousin deals with restoration o vintage n classic cars and also buyin n sellin of cars in general....hez also a judge with the rally authorities - he helped me with the mods - the exhaust cost me 3K and the spacers were for 1100 bucks.....I got the wheels and the rims from him(used rims) - total set cost me about 5000 along with the Ducaro Rally 185's - I've changed the front 2 tyres to Bridgestones for better front grip....its a lot better now !!!.....so long
Great to know that you are a pointer. I am from the 1999 batch (HS). There are couple of people from the same batch.
Looking forward to see your car. In between, its great to know that you could extract 5% more power with all those mods. Would need some tips when I save some money and plan for some mods :-)
Infact someday will meet your cousin. As you mentioned he deals in second hand cars, do you know by any chance he has a Baleno/Esteem (max 3 yrs old) in his garage.

Just curious about the 959 part. Is it in anyway related to 935 930 997 etc?

Those are the right noises to make.

The spirit of the 959 lives on but the 928 is gone. For reasons that Porsche did not want to loose on the 911 craze. However 928's are not rare. I have seen one day before yesterday. They have a Porsche club here at Dallas which is quite active.

It will be nice to know, 959, F-40, Countach 5000qv were more or less launched at the same time (mainly thanks to the Group B racing) and I have one issue of CAR that says "there will never be a month like this" and they feasted on 4 of these cars (the 4th one I think was a Metro 6R4). if only the spirit of group b carried forward.
