Hi All - Designer from Pune

Hi all ,

I am Pradeep from Pune. I am a designer & an Automotive fanatic. I love everything from cars, Rock Crawlers, bikes & ofcourse Figter jets.

Landing on this website feels like I have come to my true Home. The little engine in my head is reving up like never before, feels like its been supercharged.

here are some pics of the 1:8 scale I-Robot bike model designed by me in Unigraphics Nx-4 3d cad software. The original bike was built by Orange County Choppers.I love this bike & hope to manufacture it in the near future when I have cnc machines to play with.

Will have a wonderful time here..cheers!

and im a graphic designer from bombay!
(+ im a new recruit here as well)

personally i think OCC tends to be a bit 'gimmicky' with their bikes; one of my favourites is the Chop Shop Tour Bike, by billy lane/choppers inc.

Choppers, Inc.

Thanks ghpk :-)

`Innovation is the creation of the new or the re-arranging of the old in a new way`

I just arranged it in a new way.

Thanks Imran,

graphic designing is cool!
I just saw your intro thread & a warm welcome to you from this newbie too. You are a talented person I must say seeing your qualities.

ohh & regarding OCC, I too believe the same These guys have a huge marketing team behind them.

I too like the Chop Shop Bike built by Billy Lane(specially the high front end). It gives it that true oldschool look.

Hey Welcome to team-bhp!

I'm also a designer (Industrial Design). Unfortunately I didnt take up the profession, but I did do some work for GM and Volkswagen in some internships.

Which college are you from and what company to you work in?

This bike model is really great, reminds me of my college days when I used to make car models on Solidworks.

Hi wings_of_fire (aka Pradeep) and Hi adak.imran

Nice to have designers in TBHP. I am sure there would be a few other designers too.
Do not leave us out. Do post regularly about your own and other interesting creative designs. Let us, aam admi, non-designers also share some of the excitement. May be you could start a new thread.
And all TBHPians from Pune, do take care, till the flu scare subsides.

I was working in a tool & die company earlier. Now I run a small business & do design work as a third party. I am also in the process of starting a small scale industry & got lot of work pending yet (loan, getting manufacturing cost right...etc etc)

So what all machines you have in ur company R&D centre? I have a lot of intrest in machines as they are one of the most important key in the mechanical industry.
