A Short Story of NKOTB

Once upon a time in an underground parking of one of the MNCs where I work I saw a car with this sticker in yellow with words in black "got bhp ?" on it. I was very attracted to this peculiar question , I went near it and to my surprise it was my friend's Swift and on that sticker I saw a web url for Team-bhp. I went to my seat and asked my friend about it , he said it is "some" Automotive forum with information related to cars on it. But that answer would not decrease my interest in it , somehow that line "got bhp ?" has attracted me enough to look for teambhp on web.

I opened that url for the first time about 2years back and to this day I am hooked to it. There is hardly a day passed in my life when I do not open this website and read stuff on it. After around 1.5 years of reading this website I thought of applying for a membership in it. In past six months I tried 4 times but i failed , it was rejected 4 times. Writing Why Teambhp ? was getting harder than writing an SOP for a foreign University. Somewhere during this time 2 of my friends got theirs approved in second attempt. That produced enough BHPs in my belly to apply for the 5th time. Finally, on the evening of 29th April after a wait and efforts of 6 months, 4 attempts I got a mail from Teambhp for acceptance of my membership in the 5th attempt. It was a 'battle won' for me.
Hats off to moderators of this forum for maintaining such High standards which kept me coming back to this website even after rejections. This is an awesome forum for petrolheads like me and I will make sure that I contribute to its growth.

Well like you mentioned that you were 5th time lucky, same was the case with me. The only difference being I tried 5 times within a period of 45 days. That was how desperate I was to be on this forum. Sometimes the effort I was putting in to write 'Why T-BHP ?' got me thinking whether it was actually worth it. But I am clear in my head now!

Anyway nice to have you on board SinghBHP and by the way, nice intro!
