Re: Maruti 800 - Ownership Review in detail

A beautiful car maintained with so much care . The difference after the detailing is evident very much. How much did it set you back by? Or you did it on your own?

Re: Maruti 800 - Ownership Review in detail

Thank you for this tiny beauty's detailed review ! I'm still fascinated by my M800 of 2010 & whenever the thought comes for exchanging it, somehow I manage to avoid it. The smooth movement in city traffic is just an enormous advantage owing to it's size. Goes through every corner or slip, wherever any three wheeler can. Yes, it's a bit tiresome during longer journeys, but an amazing city car. I have driven it at 120 kmph also on the highways when it was new, but now it creakes & feels lesser in control at higher speeds.

To sum it up, just like the movie Real Steel I'm fantasticabulously impressed with this little "Atom" of mine ! Can take on whatever you through at it !! Slightly rusty now, but I know it can hand more & better !!!

I have been searching for the air filter pipe or air-intake pipe which connects the air filter with the throttle body for the F8B engine variants. How do I find them?

It's available on Boodmo. Alternatively you may procure it via MGP stores/MASS using part number.

I only got the air outlet hose for F8D engines. I need one for the F8B variant.

I found the air intake system for the F8D variants at oriparts, although I selected the correct model. Can you please show me the pictures for the part number you have mentioned here?

13881M844D0 is the air hose out of the air filter which is fine in my case.
13885M844D0 is the one which I am concerned about! Can you show me the pics of the parts?

Thank you so much, for the picture, this is exactly what I wanted . But I cannot find it on Boodmo!!! Can you give me the link of the product??? I will replace both the Air hose outlet and the throttle body pipe, otherwise my Manifold Air Pressure sensor would not work properly.

Are the spare parts of good quality at Boodmo, or are they original? And also what front strut caps do you use in your Golden Goose? Are they fro the Swift?

Re: Maruti 800 - Ownership Review in detail

Members would be happy to know that after my last post in July 2019, I'm writing here in April 2023 that although, I've added the Citroen C3 in my stable 6 months back, I didn't let go of my Atom ! It's still going strong even when I'm not using it daily or weekly even & sticking very well to the expectations since 2010 !! Still very very proud to have a M800 at home !!!
