I have a GETZ 1.3 GLS. It's clocked 17,000kms. The Getz does feel sluggish in 2nd (if you are hitting 1/1.5 on the Rev meter), there's a period of 3 or 4 seconds where the motor does not know what to do...it kinda stalls. At this point, the car continuous to be in the same momentum and speed. The same phenomen takes place if the RPM comes to 1000 or below, and if you happen to be in 2nd at that time. The AC is effective. I have 3M glazings on my windows.

But after a while it picks up. Once the speedo touches 35-40, it's a breeze. The pickup is amazing after that and all the way after. But after 120, the pickup is marginal. I remember doing 150 on a Chennai Vellore trip.
