hey rudra i missed your review earlier, but very insightful one nonetheless. as long as you found a car that serves the purpose you wanted it to, all is well. very well written too. now awaiting your Amby review and the 800.

WOW!! that's some bang up!!!!! How the hell did the guy manage to crush a heavy safe car like the optra like that!!! I guess they will have to scrap that optra. Don't think it can be repaired!

the following changes are made

1. new grille

Hey Dipen.
Yes I'm listening. Like the alloy. I need to sell my 14 inches to get them. Over and above the tyre cost.
Seen this car in KL. I prefer the old grill though.

Blaupunkt 120 watt speakers (4 nos on doors), Blaupunkt tweeters, 4 channel Blaupunkt amp and Blaupunkt subwoofer.

No good for new type musics. Fader control is in "0" position to avoid unwanted boomy bass. Bass level +1. Fantastic for jazz and world music.

why the hell do they call the new Optra as Optra DE,it not a new design , as this design already exists in other countries.

if they made some real cosmetic changes only for the indian market or a new design has come up in other countries, then only should they be calling it a new DESIGN Edition.

why do they fool the ppl , why not rather call it a simple limited edition!!

Dipen, you're 100% right. But It's the easy way out to pull some 'murga' customers to showroom. Anything comes here as limited edition means cosmetic add on only.
