For me its been 9 years and 1.55k Km of driving on my silver santro. Although i have faced a few breakdowns (3-4) in the last 2 years but its not car's fault. I haven't maintained it well for the last 2 years but 1.55k and still going strong, this has to be one of the most reliable cars in India.

this just happened about an hour back-while returning home, just in front of it, a biker hit on my Santro's left rear door trying to avoid a MCD truck and ran away.

Did you get that done at the authorised work shop or outside? The colour looks pretty mismatched, that's why I'm asking.

I think that's the primer coat before they spray the actual paint.

Oh that makes sense then. Because it looks really mismatched at the moment. Waiting for the final pics.

Its an independent workshop WITH A PROPER PAINT BOOTH.

Door painted, stage three over. Last stage will be over by tomorrow evening.

First pic shows before the clearcoat and the second pic is after the first stage of clearcoat.

The colour may look mismatched but its a fresh paint VS a 3 year old paint on the front door. Will be back to normal after the whole car gets rubbing and polishing.

Paint used: DuPont QO bright silver cobra paint.

My cousin sister crashed my Santro today morning while reversing.

Both bumpers have to be repainted as it hit the parking boundary.
