Naah! Not Again!! Here's another Punto - Edit: 1 year 25K update

I can't control my joy - can't believe that I am purchasing a car from a TATA dealership! Oh yeah! Just got a new Fiat Punto 1.3 Emotion from Hyson Motors Thrissur. The car would be delivered tomorrow...

More details later... here are some pics that I took whilst checking my car before giving an Okay for delivery....

The car wasn't cleaned - it was just pulled out of the yard on my request.

You sound frustrated binaiks. If you so dislike Tatas, why the plunge then? Congrats on your acquisition. Leave the bad feelings out and enjoy the beauty.

Being an impatient person, I checked only through the important points. My primary focus was on the odo and the date of manufacture - both were satisfactory.

Not frustrated. I have high respect for TATA as a group - but not for their dealers. Punto was almost thrown out of the window just due to the dealer attitude at Bangalore (Later read on T-BHP that this was experienced by many more). The dealers I went to in Kerala were all good - both had cars is stock, and it was just a matter of convenience that made me choose Hyson.

Insurance and Extended Warranty is all that was offered Free. Will check up with the dealer again, if he 'plans' to dish out something.

More details, and, may be, some more pics after delivery. Delivery is tentatively fixed later in the day tomorrow.

Go for Emotion Pack!!!

You'll get Blue & Me, alloy wheels with much bigger tyres and air bags. It's definitely worth the extra 30-50K...

Congrats on the buy of the most gorgeous hatch in the country! Do post your initial review. Happy and safe driving!
Why didn't you go for the emotion pack? It's a few thousands more expensive but it's more 'bang for your buck' than the the Emotion.

Congrats man. It looks superb. Yesterday I saw a blue Punto come out of Concorde Motors and it brought a smile on my face. Silver is also good. But IMO blue is the best. Congrats again and drive safe.

Congrats on the silver Punto.

I see a lot of emotion models being sold, wonder how much is the exact difference between emotion and emotion pack. Since emotion pack would give alloys, bigger tyres, blue n me, steering controls, ACC, don't know if i missed something which should definitely be worth that extra amount over the Emotion model
