I am pretty surprised to find that though its been 31 days since i got my New Laura, there isn't a single ownership thread on the car on TBHP yet! Well, i have clicked some amazing pictures but can't post them as my gallery accessibility isn't activated yet :(
I have owned an Octavia for almost 5 years now and haven't had any serious issue with the car. I am hoping for the same with this beauty! Its a pretty decent car. Though i wish it had some more goodies but the current lot is satiable too! Drivability is very good as with all Skodas. Engine noise is a little on the higher side.
Interiors are pretty good and have a feel-good factor to it (IMHO, they are better than the Civic and Altis). Will try and post a detailed review in a couple of days.
PS: I guess its the first FL Laura on TBHP :)

The photos are all from my cellphone camera + when the car wasn't washed properly + when the car was about 10 days old + when there were no tints/stickers!

How about some interior pics when you take the next batch man? Take as many as you possible can. From the dirt on the wheel, you seem to be enjoying this car is ways it was never supposed to be :D :D

skoda has got 2 great cars in india. the Laura and the Superb. now if they improve their public image (read A.S.S) a bit, they will be on roll in india. Not to forget the Yeti to be launched in 2010.

Congrats Akki. Some interior pics please. I prefer the looks and interiors to the Jetta. But the A.S.S. seems to be better with VW i presume. Anyways enjoy the beauty!!

A beautiful car. I love the Laura for its ride. The new lamps good. The old is not bad either.

Features that i really miss are - sunroof, steering controls, touchscreen audio system, little less engine noise (outside), bluetooth phone connectivity (these maybe because i drive the E280 just a little less often and so am used to being pampered!:D ) But frankly, if only the steering controls were included, this car would be an awesome VFM vehicle! Overall, a good fun-to-drive car. The DSG gearbox is good too!
