Black is a fantastic colour and one of my favourites but it comes with it's problems and the fact that we are in India will make it worse. We all know scratches easily show on a black car and in India there wouldn't be any shortage of scratches. And also remember that Indians derieve psychotic pleasure from scarring other people's properties. The rogues out there know black is a good colour for them to practice their 'line drawing skills' so think of that angle too. For all these reasons, I'd vote for RED.

Obviously red!! Though i like cars in black, I've never liked the vRS in any other colour than red. Factoring the scratch part too, My vote goes for RED

The perfect vRS:

- I scream BLACK

- Llumar Tints Black 35 on the sides and back, Clear 70 on the front

- 18inch rims (preferably BBS) & Tires (Michelin 225/45)

- Xenon Conversion for High beam

- Upgraded component speakers for the front and back, a 12inch sub and a 5 channel amp (sweet sweet sound)

- Milltek Turboback exhaust, carbonio air induction kit, turbo inlet pipe, diverter valve and a phase II remap. Trust me you will fall in love with the sound it creates. And with 225bhp under the hood, no other RS can come close.

- A chotu (who is chota enough) to sit in the boot and dust the car everytime its parked!

Cheers,

Arush

EDIT: Found a nice pic

red - you must have already had first time experience with keeping a black car clean.
and for the sake of the little kid as well.

black or red

you must get red final preference is yours .

you can go for base rider turbo which has same engine and costs very less and the money saved could be used to get interior and modification jobs done.

black is an all time favourite, never goes out of fashion & commands equal respect from old as well as young people.

red is a more seasonal color, it wud look fantastic on a true sports car & not a saloon.

but those are my opinions though, the money is urs so spend on the color of ur choice. keep all of us posted.

Arush bhai, only I know how much I would love to do this and even Sideways (our fellow Team-BHP member) and I were discussing such stuff this afternoon for the vRS, but sadly, any such modification will kill my 2 year warranty . However, once the warranty is done with, I will surely get in touch with you for just this.... Promise me good kebabs if I land up in Delhi for your help though lol.... Some nice stuffed parathas too? Hehe!

Dude you will be treated to the best of kebabs whenever u visit delhi ! (Sam has been a witness to that and will swear by the couple of pounds he gained that night hehe!)

Warranty is an issue, so yeah i guess you would have to wait till that time period or your patience runs out

Confused!!!

Good Lord! red gets 18 votes and black 17.... LOL... Even at home, Motormom and I are still confused on red or black. Anyway, there are still around 8 days before I make the payment (no finance as usual), so, let the votes keep coming in.

A big thank you to all those who took the time to help me by recommending a color. If only you were all girls, I would've hugged you apart from thanking you too.

Keep voting, you never know when I take off on giving jaado ke jhapees lol.
