Its okay-ish. Looks very anonymous. Feels as paper-light as the older one - says a lot when you think the Mitsu Galant feels better .

The 3.5 V6 moves reasonably well, though the Galant has it covered there too.

Its like steer read my mind, though the buyer actually likes the Type 2 looks and almost made the payment for it, backed off since the car park of that ol apartment didnt allow accord to enter easy. Yes camry had a better turn in frontal vision

Steer, the Galant is not available here na? Why comparing it to something that's not here & not going to be either in the near future.

jaggu - does the buyer want only a NEW car or is he ok to go for USED ones ? -
sorry !! - i think in this segment its more appropriate to call it "PRE OWNED" rather than USED....

in that case many options exist...ECLASS, 5 SERIES etc , etc..

The New Camry! Has real road presence and great bold looks and a fine sophisticated image.

I hope there would be a loyalty bonus since the buyer is a Toyota owner. And if you're exchanging the car the dealer might give a good price for the old Camry.

The new Accord is not going to come with a V6. (Source: ACI march issue)

Apparently the V6 Accord gained a reputation of a gas guzzler so the comany is not launching the new one with a v6 option.
Volumes of the current v6 have been poor too. (I always thought the V6 Accord sold pretty well for a car with low mileage)

New buy only. And no selling of the ol car since its going to be handed down to his parents.

Any idea when the new Accord and Superb are planned, and hope Toyota doesnt have another new launch for camery?

Spot on - The Nissan Teana. We got one for our top honcho in September last year & he has been nothing but praises for it. Says its the most comfortable rear seat he has ever been on, with loads of space. He chose it over the Camry.

So far, we have not had issues with the service network.

Moved into a villa with tons of space, so the concern is no more there

Toyota has no plans for a new Camry in the near future. The new Accord fits the budget perfectly and is going to be quite a machine. New Superb is coming anytime soon.
