why not get in a rare brand itself rather than a rare car. We have ferrari's, nissans , lambhorginis, aston martins , dodge et all but i guess we dont have many maserati's or alpha romeos around in india.

How about maserati GranTourismo or an alpha 159 or spider. I am not sure about the maintanence and import issue with these but check out this link for the alpha

@Ram:
How about an Environment friendly car which can do a 1/4 mile in 12 Seconds, 0-60 MPH in 4 Secs. Its infact too good for daily use and the Govt. has its budget to promote these cars. Its a 2 seater with excellent handling.

And the best part is that the steering is centrally mounted like the one in the Mclaren F1, so concerns about LHD or RHD can be void. cheers:

aahh!!, thats the best option for your friend ram.

and you did mentioned about filimi connection!!!

but seriously, your friend can consider or may be he can approach the DC for a filmi ishtyle car or may be chamalean(is the spelling right??)

on the otherhand if he wants some seriously good looking car, he can approach our in-house modifier, autopsyche.

If I wanted a rare car which was not as expensive as the Hyper cars, I would choose either a Weismann or a Morgan Aero 8. Since both run BMW engines & running gear maintenance would not be too much of a problem either.

How 'bout a Jaguar? Pretty rare to find one on the roads, but that might change pretty soon. Fairly reliable, and not too expensive, as a supercar too.

I doubt if there's a single Saleen in India, that would be the rarest. I would also suggest Dodge Viper, not sure if its rare in India though. Maintenance, Cant say

Adding to that list, I also doubt if there is a single Zonda in India...
